How the daily works

The calendar is filled in advance from puzzles that have already passed the same checks as the regular sets: one solution, confirmed by two solvers, and a complete logical path. A puzzle used on the calendar is taken out of the everyday pools, so you will not meet Tuesday’s board again while browsing medium on Wednesday.

The date is your local date. Two people in the same timezone are always on the same puzzle, which is what makes a conversation about “today’s 45” possible. Finish it and the streak counts. Miss a day and the streak resets; the puzzle itself stays in the archive under its number.

Hints work the same way as on any other board. The first one explains the step. The second fills the cell. Neither is required, and both are stored with the game so a reload keeps your place.
