Privacy policy

iLoveSudoku is a static website. You do not create an account. The puzzle you are solving, your notes, timer, streak, settings, and any “report this puzzle” note are stored in local storage on your device. We do not receive that data unless you email us.

If analytics is enabled, the site loads Google Analytics 4 and sends page views and game events such as start, finish, and hint. Those events include the puzzle number, difficulty, time, and counts of hints and mistakes. They do not include your name. A client identifier used for a future leaderboard, if you opt in, is a random id stored on your device, not a government id or an email address.

Advertising space is reserved on the page. If Google AdSense is enabled, Google may set cookies or similar identifiers according to its own policy, and visitors in the EU and UK will see a consent message before personalized ads. You can refuse. The game still works.

Server logs on the host (Cloudflare) may include IP address, user agent, and the URL requested, kept for security and operations. We do not sell personal information.

Contact hello@ilovesudoku.app to ask what we hold or to request deletion of anything you have emailed us. Local storage can be cleared in your browser settings.
